SFHA Website Audit Results

Last week auditmywebsite carried out a basic website audit on W3C compliance for usability and accessibility on every Scottish Housing Association website. Auditmywebsite were very interested in the outcome of this informal audit for the Scottish Housing Associations.

We're sorry to report bad news, but over 95% of the Scottish Housing Association websites failed the basic audit for W3C compliance - meaning their websites were not accessible to the partially sighted/blind, nor even cross-browser compatible. This was just a cursory analysis regarding a 10 minute study per website.

We will now offer a follow up in depth audit on the websites - this will highlight the exact problems which have yet to be addressed.
