Criminals increasingly turn to zombie PCs

Zombie computers are now the major threat facing today's security industry said a senior Microsoft security official. The rise of the zombie PC (also known as botnets) seems almost unstoppable, Symantec counted more than 4.5 million in the first six months of this year, and they're increasingly attractive to cyber-criminals.
